Valuation for purchase verses remortgage

Hi, just wondering if anybody knows if building societies treat re-mortgage valuations any differently than new purchases. I am re- mortgaging to a but to let before moving on. I am worried I might have overestimated my house valuation, although only want 75% LTV mortgage, the survey is next week and I cant sleep with worry about what will happen if it doesn't value in, I have had an offer accepted on another house and it all rests on this valuation. Do building societies only care about getting their loan back or are they very strict. It's Natwest if that makes any difference.
Thankyou.
Thankyou.

Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.

If it's a BTL remortgage. Then the offer will be influenced by the rental income not just the valuation.0

OK thanks, I did have to get a lettings agent valuation for estimated income, that was £30 more per month than the £465 I had estimated when I applied, my mortgage (although interest only) will be 133 per month. I'm hoping that's a good sign, any thoughts?Old Faithful we roam the range together,
