I have a lot of things I wish to get rid of such as books and little knicknacks.
How ever I don't want to sell on Ebay because the fees are too high for me and a
I don't want to sell on facebook groups because I get no interest on them.
Where is the best place to sell?

Well you crossed off two popular option. Books are difficult to sell as it has been discussed several times on these forums. You are better off to donate them to a charity instead unless you have some first editions, rare copies etc.
You can try a car boot if there is one in your area or Gumtree. However if they aren't rare items or something really valuable, you won't get much interest or cash for them either.ally.0 -
I've posted things like comics & Dvds on Ebay but I'm not too fond of listing heavy books and things.:xmassmile EF: £10/£2,700 :xmassmile Fun:£10/£1,000 :xmassmile SPC#054 = £9.00 / £100.00 :xmassmile

Unless they are rare books, signed or first edition etc, it is easier just to donate them off to a charity.ally.0

I agree about the books, I don't even bother car booting them anymore as they fetch so little it isn't worth wasting room in the car.
Knock knacks also sounds a bit charity shopish, and in reality apart from ebay which OP has discounted I can't think of anywhere else to suggest.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
