Brandy Butter & Lemon Curd

Do you make your own or have shop bought?

    I always make my own Brandy Butter, i use Nigellas recipe its lovely

    I make brandy butter, this year I'm going to try making it with stevia as I'm diabetic & whilst I@m not too strict at christmas I think shoveling sugar in is not a good idea

    I don't like brandy butter but much prefer home made lemon curd. I use Delia's recipe but put a bit more lemon in as I like it quite tart.

    There is nothing quite like making your own. We make ours but only when we have the time!

    It depends if you use them and how much you like them. As a household of one, I'd probably try to find the smallest portions, ready made .... in fact, lemon curd'd probably be bought as a pack of 6 lemon curd tarts (at most).

    I've never had brandy butter, so, again, it wouldn't even be on the list.

    I did buy a 30p jar of lemon curd over a year ago, "in case" I ever made a pudding/dessert .... but not felt the urge to date.

    So do I. Made it for the first time a couple of years ago with her cranberry mince pies and the family love them so it is one of the few things I do make.
