Did you apply for it?
They'll likely ask you what it's for and how you can afford it.
Do you really need one?0 -
Probably to get your bank or card details. Be very VERY careful that these people aren't brokers instead of direct lenders. What's the name of the company?0

Probably to make sure you understand what you're doing, so you can't come back and claim you didn't know if was a loan, etc.
Avoid doing it if you can.0 -

Someone will just be doing their job.
You should have watched that documentary a few weeks ago on ITV - that showed a little snippet on there, showed them asking job title and whether the caller had any IVA's, DRO's and bankruptcy in their name if I recall correctly!
Check you are who you say you are
Financial status, reconfirm terms
Reason for borrowing
Personally I've always gone for the tech enabled lenders as the computer decides there and then as I don't think I'd pass with a manual, so perhaps there are pitfalls in both, yeah make sure this isn't a 'broker wum'.0 -

Well they seem like a lender and not a broker. But please, please be careful, and make sure you definitely can afford to pay them back.
It is a slippery slope into wretchedness if you don't and it takes a long time to climb out again. I speak from experience. That said, if you genuinely use these companies for short-term, pay-back-in-full situations they can be useful. But please look after yourself.
Best wishes.

Ruth is right, be extremely careful. You can find out some more info at Money Advice service too. I'm sure they just need to speak to you to clarify some aspect of your application. No need to worry. But obviously make sure a payday loan is the right financial tool for you right now. Never use one to pay off another debt as that is a slippery slope. Do you not have firends or family who could help out in this instance?0
