Hi,
Rang to see if it was possible to extend my mortgage and spend 3 hours 30 minutes going over the application.
I have got my decision in principle, but its subject to credit check...Think rate tarting may not have helped as I moved the balance twice to stay with the same lender...If I check noddle the balance is showing on 2 cards still
I can get a loan agree quickly with the money arriving tomorrow without the hassle...
However I think I may damage my credit score. Not sure if the mortgage would show at this point...
Stick with mortgage application or twist?

If you have an ongoing mortgage application and you then make any further application for credit you need to advise your mortgage lender, as the offer will be based on the information you gave upon application.
From your post, I am not entirely sure what you are asking. When you say extend mortgage, do you mean you have applied to borrow more money on it, but now you think you want to get a loan instead, in order to repay two credit cards?0 -
I was going to cancel the mortgage application if loan was successful. No reason to believe it would be declined...except the mortgage application
My credit check shows outstanding on 2 cards.... But infact one has been cleared. I would clear the balance with the loan...0
