HSBC Overdraft Debt

I had a £100 overdraft that was used by £93 in 2010(The year of default). I went into a HSBC branch to pay it as it was showing on my Noddle credit report (a month later the account had disappeared.
Tonight checking my equifax report I see the HSBC default is showing, my question is: is there a template letter that I can send that as the account has been closed by yourselves I want it removed from my credit report or if not would I be able to send a letter asking them to send me a copy of the original credit agreement?
Thanks in advance. :T

Hi,
The account has most likely been sold to a DCA, debts just don't disappear, you cannot get it removed from your credit report, as it is an accurate record of how you have run the account.
There is no credit agreement for a bank account, different legislation apples.
The DCA will probebly be writing to you soon.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
