Hi,
Advice needed I am looking to retrain as a mortgage advisor and become CeMap qualified. I have been on the ifs website and can purchase the 3 exams needed. It states the materials provided are
Automatically included materials: (Included in the price of your registration are the following materials)
•CeFA/CeMAP UK Financial Regulation Binder
•2015/16 CeFA/CeMAP UK Financial Regulation text
•CeMAP Mortgages Binder
•2015/16 CeMAP Mortgages text
•2015/16 CeMAP Assessment of Mortgage Advice Knowledge text
Is this material everything needed to study for the exam?

If going down the ifs route then yes CeMAP 1, 2 & 3. You may wish to consider getting 1 first and take the exam before you complete the others, as they are time bound. You may also get half way through 1 and then decide the career isn't for you.
Your alternative option is the CII.
OR
You could go for DipMAP instead of CeMAP - Some of us suspect this will become mandatory in the future.
There is currently another thread on this for someone else looking to do the same, which may be of interest to you.
The biggest thing I would say at this point is why mortgages and do you know what you are getting into?0
