overpayment

Hello
I took out a 5 year natwest loan a year ago. im intreasted in overpaying but dont know how to do it should i save a big amount up or should i just put the odd amount on it.

Comments

  • As long as Nat West accepts overpayments and there is no cost to you for doing so then any overpayment will save you interest and reduce the term of your loan - so a win win situation.

Pay extra as you go along the sooner you owe less the lower the interest you will pay overall NB You may need to inform Nat West before each extra payment that you wish to make.
