expenditure statements

Hi all

I hope that all are doing okay. I am panicking. My OR interview was supposed to be for tomorrow - over the phone - I have spoken to my OR and received several e-mails - I got home from work this evening only to find an e-mail saying that he would like ALL expenditure statements since april 04 - How in heavens name do I get hold of every single statement from my bank and credit cards since then....if anybody has ever reclaimed bank charges they will know that it can take an age.....and also..I would need statements from about 7 different people etc.....HOW on earth can I do this - also I think that it costs £10 a go and I do not have £70 post bankruptcy until pay day to get all of these.......Any ideas please????

Thank you!!!!

You're going to have to get them. You'll need to explain to the OR that you'll need time to comply or see if they can do it from their end.

I'd be worrying more about why the OR is asking.

    Don't panic. :)

Find the ones that you do have and give those to the OR, stating that is all you have.

The OR can obtain for themselves any that they need that are missing. Don't pay for any yourself.

My OR was missing loads of mine. :o

If they insist they can't have what you haven't got or pay for. Your bankrupt.

Un needed scare tactics connor as yet again your information is incorrect....as Fermi said the OR will be able to get any statements your missing, the same happened to me in March & the OR managed to get all paperwork he needed as i'd very little in the way of statements...you know the story head in sand & ignoring statements
as for worrying...please try not to when I questioned why the OR needed statements etc the reply was "standard procedure" sometimes they ask for everything sometimes they don't it seems to vary from OR to OR offices

Thanks everyone.....I think that I will write to them explaining why I need them - they know that I am now insolvent and ask them to send them directly to the OR office - that way they probably will not charge me and quite honestly, there is no more that I can do.

I do not have anything to hide - although most of us in this situation because we could not make ends meet - and some have got here through illness and other situations....I for, one, have not always been prudent with money - a while ago at least and the OR must see this all the time - I think that this is standard procedure etc...but this chap certainly is leaving no stone unturned - I have nothing to hide but he does not miss a trick....I have only ever been upfront with him - he is very nice - very human etc - but he certainly commands respect!

Thank you all..........hope all is going okay for you all.

    Best wishes to all.

I would talk to your OR and ask if he can get them first. It's really his problem now.

As you've said you already have done enough....the OR is now in charge of the situation so as Fermi said it's their problems now...your not doing them any favors writing for copies of statements...at the end of the say they have a job to do it's what the BR fees are for & they really don't mind..it's not as if your the first person to have paperwork missing :o

I know it wont stop you worrying...I was the same but try & relax & when everythings all done you'll wonder what the fuss was about

  • Thank you both - very much indeed.

I did things the wrong way around - I e-mailed the OR saying that I would write asking them to send them to his office directly and then read your posts......It won`t take long - perhaps there might be an e-mail from him in the morning telling me that he will get them....(I very much doubt ti though!!).

    Thanks again.......All the very best.
