A much needed break

Hi fellow compers,
Went on a long anticipated holiday 2 weeks ago for a week and decided that this year I would take a break from comping during that time. The holiday was so amazing, just what I needed and was my best holiday, might only have been to the Suffolk coast but the weather was beautiful so got plenty of beach time with my dog, and even got to do what I've wanted to for couple of years and watch the sun rising over the sea, for the 2 hours I was out that morning I had the whole massive stretch of beach to myself so it was a gorgeous morning. Only once on the first day did missing out a chance to win some nice prizes enter my mind but I chose to not even look, after that my holiday was what a holiday is all about - forgetting everything from home and just enjoying myself.
Unfortunately before getting back my suspected Crohns kicked up so I've only been able to start entering competitions again today - but I think that 2 week break has been a healthy break to have, we all can become a little too concentrated on things sometimes. But what matters most is that I had a fantastic holiday, and so did my dad and my dog, we came away with next year's holiday book and it was even cheaper than this year and no fees for my pooch to come along again. I got some lovely photos to add to the memories I have of it, and feel so much more relaxed and chilled as a result. All is sorted at home so I can just concentrate on getting better and whilst trying to win some nice prizes.
Hope many of you had a nice holiday this is summer , or if you still have your hol to come then have an amazing time. Happy comping to you all!

Good suggestion - it is important to keep comping in perspective.
