Please Help Me

I've been kidding myself. Im doing fab with my personal spending (Im sorry ive got quite a few threads on the go but thought this needed to be seperate) and am hardly spending a thing but I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STRESSED OUT!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like my debts arent gonna go down, I dont want to go into an IVA but am seriously thinking about a DMP. I'm just getting so fed up of struggling to find extra cash for things like a new pair of glasses for my boyf (I have come to the conclusion he cant go without his contact lenses as he cant actually see through his glasses because they are so old) and every month things are so tight its stressing boyf out loads too. I cant get a consolidation loan because I need so much approx 19k. I dont want to get out ofpaying my debts and at the minute I dont care about having to pay them forever.

If anyone can give a bit of advice I would really appreciate it.

I think that you would be better keeping this in your debt diary thread, that way it will bump that back up and it keeps any worries you have in the same place so people don't have to go hunting to see what your debts etc are. I reckon you should email a mod and ask them to combine some of them together.

I had a look in your diary thread and you haven't started it that long ago, so your debts won't have changed much. Beating your debts are a marathon and not a sprint so it's going to take time. It might be frustrating not seeing much change but it does take time. You should also stick what your APR's are for the various debts so we can see what should get paid first - consolidation loan is usually not the answer though.

Have a look in Lucy1982's or many of the other threads and you will see them having really good and really bad days now and again but they always get support from others.

I highlighted Lucy's thread as she is fighting her debts and trying to lose weight and doing great with both.

Thanks for that, will try and figure out how as my computer now wont let me send the email.

As I say my daily spending has been fab but i have just sat down and figured out how to get a bit of cash for some new specs and just cant find it. I am probably just having a down night - I cant even say a down day cos it was probably half an hour that i put a message on my debt diary saying how well things are going.

Im really sorry and I feel really stupid but i just get so fed up and this is my outlet as I dont like to stress boyf out too much.

    I feel silly - sorry

You don't need to apologise. As I said, you will have good moments and bad moments and you will worry about things now and again but try not to let it get you down too much.

Don't feel silly, we all have swings of emotion when stressed. I know I can be on a real high one minute then another stress brings me crashing down!

    BUT...........

You are doing well......you are tackling your debts. If there is nothing that you can reduce now, is there any way you could increase your income, even if it's just for the emergencies or little extras? Years ago I used to do ironing for 3 people on a regular basis, and that gave me a little bit of 'spending' cash when things were otherwise really tight. Is there anything like that you can do? Best of lock, ***HUGS*** You will getthere!

    Hi Zoe.

We all have bad days, I've had a few recently (Please see my threads) but we will all get through this. Have you thought about doing any challenges to get you going? Sometimes working towards a particular figure or getting rid of a particular debt can be really helpful.

Feel free to PM me if you fancy a chat, but remember that is this an exciting journey that will help you through the rest of your life.

    Take care x
