Hi I was lookin for advice on a mortgage to build my home. This is an early stage enquiry I haven't even spoken with a financial advisor yet

I wanted to get an idea of the deposit needed to take a self build mortgage? Has anyone done this process before?

Is it possible to take a mortgage out on the land to start and build the house later?
