Congrats Lollipop, my valuation was carried out on Monday, and I had a letter yesterday to say they valued the property at the amount of the sale agreed price. Still waiting for an offer from the Halifax, I keep checking my emails every 5 minutes, and I cant seem to think of anything else at the moment.0

I'm in exactly the same position as you urbanvulture, my valuation was on Monday and valuation report received yesterday but yet to hear anything regarding an offer or additional documentation required and I'm slowly going mad!
What documentation have you sent to them so far, if you don't mind me asking?:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)
Mortgage - £151.316.54 :eek:0 -
Its was all handled through my broker, I provided 3 months payslips, and bank statements, last years P60, and ID. My application was delayed by 2 weeks before valuation, as they required a pay reference from my employer as well.0

We have gone through a broker also, and handed over everything except bank statements but they haven't requested anything more than 1 payslip which is worrying me a little, as surely they need more to go on!
Oh well, fingers crossed for us both!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

From what I read from other post, a lot of brokers only send one payslip to the Halifax, and the application goes through ok. Yes good luck to both off us!!!0

We submitted 3 months wage slips, 3 months bank statements and both our P60's. I don't know what all was used. We have a soft and hard check on our credit files on experian. Our valuation was carried out on the Friday at 5 pm, it came back £950.00 short so Halifax adjusted the borrowing slightly and we are just using the equity in our current property to pay the difference then received the revised offer yesterday.
Have you called your broker to see what the delay is, it's such a nerve wracking time! Hope you hear good news soon.0 -
Completely agree, could not wait any longer. I have dropped an email to my broker for an update just now.0

I did the same this morning urbanvulture, I caved and emailed!
Not that I got much help in the response back because the poor broker is being told that halifax don't need anything else but the offer still hasn't come through yet. Hoping for an answer by next Wednesday (that's me being super patient, if it takes that long I expect I'll be on the phone to the broker every 5 minutes!:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Don't forget your broker is working for you! I didn't think twice about firing off an e mail! To be honest he is probably glad to see that back of me!!
Keep me posted!0 -
Finally got a reply from my broker, the offer was issued for the full amount.. Is the Halifax supposed to email you with the details as well, as I never received.0
