Query re being non-executive director

Hi

Don't know if anyone knows the answer to this so here goes ( rang gov insolvency number but their answer was ambiguous!). On 17/9/2010 I went into an IVA agreement ( lump sum paid). I now have the chance to become a non-executive director of a social mental health enterprise). I was told that I couldn't have been bankrupt in the last 5 years. Not sure if this will affect me, it was a lump sum ( no bankruptcy) shows as settled in Feb 2011 on my credit score ( took several months to ' finalise'. Does anyone know the exact legal situation and whether I would be excluded or not? Thank you

  • If you have never been bankrupt, then you can legitimately confirm that you "have not been bankrupt in the last 5 years"

    Simples :)
