hi, most of us use a cheapish moby & use that for comps tele: numbers,
lots of comps do ring to let you know you've won.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
some info in our comping guide re: telephone numbers etc..

Should I put my home number?
This is going to be a personal choice but I can let you know some of the ways other MSE Compers deal with this situation.
Some MSE Compers obtain a free sim card for a mobile & use that as their contact number, they turn on voicemail & check it regularly. Always ensure you tick the correct opt out boxes to avoid unwanted marketing calls.
Other MSE Compers don’t mind putting their home number & some have even said that they don’t receive unwanted marketing calls to their home number as they are careful with the opt out boxes.
Some MSE Compers don’t put a home number at all, I would say that I fall into this category & put my mobile number into both Home & Mobile fields on a comp entry form, although I don’t have a separate sim card, I just use my usual mobile number & I’m not hassled with lots of marketing calls.please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0
