ALDI 20GB MP3 Jukebox £139.99! [CLOSED]

in It's gone, but was it any good?
From next Thursday (19th), ALDI have a 20GB MP3 Jukebox for just £139.99.

It's not on http://uk.aldi.com yet, but the in-store leaflet says:

"And the beat goes on...wherever you're going, you can take literally thousands of your favourite tunes with you in this high-powered jukebox!
. Ultra-thin 1.8" Hard Disc Drive with 20GB for up to 5000 music titles
. Blue backlit LCD display with 160 x 128 pixel
. MP3, WMA and WMA-DRM playback
. Save your digital pictures and data via the SD, MMC or USB interfaces while on holiday
. Voice recording function via the integrated microphone and playback recorded messages
. Rechargable
. Up to 8 hrs play-back via integrated and exchangeable 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery
. Shock and vibration proof
. Sennheiser earphones
. USB 2.0 connection cable, ear jack and AC adapter all included"

The leaflet also has a "Three Year Warranty" symbol.

I can't find a picture online yet; it's quite reminiscent of the Creative player, but not as curvy. Just get behind me in the queue :-)

    With the highly rated, track proven, Creative Zen Touch 20GB MP3 Player freely available for less than a fiver more than this one, it is going to take a good salesman to convince me that the Aldi MP3 player on offer is worth considering as an alternative to the 20GB Zen Touch? :confused:

    No doubt a handy extra to have, but it would be way down my list of priorities when buying an MP3 Player. (IMHO) :)

    The player is a Tevion. Just ghot a picture of it from the leaflet, looks quite good. Just got today the 250 gb hard drive from Aldi.

    I reckon it _is_ the same player, but in a different shell. "Poor man's iPod" eh? That sounds like a recommendation to me :-)
