You may be surprised - but yes, actually up to two years an employer can dismiss for all but a few reasons, all of which it would be up to the employee to prove. So you are wrong in being sure an employer can't do it. They can.
Besides which, you have no more proof that the exact job the OP had was given to someone else - even the OP can't prove that.
And, as you know, those few reasons include discrimination on the grounds of disability.
Even if it were the same job as the OP was doing and wasn't simply adding those duties to another employee, it would still be possible for the responsibilities to be switched to another employee as long as they were already employed and not a new recruit.0 -

Yes I do. But I have repeatedly asked the OP to provide some evidence that their disability was responsible for the dismissal, and they can't. The facts as presented actually suggest there was some reason other than disability - such as the one the employer provided - because the employer had substantially better opportunities to dismiss the OP, or even not to employ them. Sometimes face value is all there is.0
