Need advice regarding bully behaviour

Hi

I have been employed by security company and worked at the same site for 5 years. In May 2015 I complained grevience to HR about my site manager bully behaviour and continuously picking on me. HR manager promised me to investigate it but till now nothing has happened.

I went on holidays on 5th of August till 1st September and i had to take off on 4th of August due to my 4 years old daughter was not well and had to take her to the doctor and provided doctors letter to my manager, despite that my site manager was going top of his head and started telling to the client and started spill the poison against me to the client we are working for, but stayed alway in contact with my company HR.

I complain again to my my company HR about it and they said he should not run to the client and promised me once I come back from holidays they will sit down and try to sort things out.

During my holidays my daughter fell sick and had to admit her to the hospital and diagnosed with type1 diabetes. Off course that was the shocking point for us or any parents in the world.

I asked for 8 days unpaid from 1st September till 8th September because she was in hospital for 11 days.

My regional manager and been HR informed and they said take your time. No need to worry about anything.

On 12 September I told them I'm ready to work and my regional manager told me that don't know what site manager told the client about me and they asked me to be removed from the site. AGAIN IM SHOCKED. No reason was given in hand.

I don't know by law where do I stand and who I should approach.

I believe just because I have 2 official grevience are pending against my manager so he played the game and my company is unable to do anything.

Please advice

Has the employer placed you on another job?

It's going to be difficult to find out if/ what the manager has said about you - could it just be that the client preferred your replacement? You have been away for some time.

They haven't put me nowhere and waiting ....

My question is they need to give me the reason why I have been removed, it's not the justification that my daughter was in hospital so they removing me despite I worked there 5 years and followed the company contact policy.

Secondly other colleagues at site also not happy with his behaviour but they are scared to complain but if needed they can be witness of his attitude.

I don't think we live in 16th century anymore.

I was away for my holidays and only taken 8 unpaid leave and gave them hospital discharge notice.

If the client no longer wants you on the site that is the reason for your removal. They don't need to elaborate further.

Are you still being paid whilst you wait for a new position? Are you contracted to a certain number of hours?

Have you actually formally lodged grievances - because I am interpreting what you have said here to be that you spoke to HR a couple of times and then they fobbed you off with whatever would get you out of their office. Because I am not seeing anything at all like a grievance procedure in what you described. Which, if this is the case, means that there are no grievances, and if you put one in formally now, it is going to look like sour grapes for the client asking for your removal. Much as I would hope that your colleagues would back you up, I wouldn't hold my breath on that - in 999 cases out of 1,000 your colleagues won't be seen for dust, won't have a clue what you are talking about, and are entirely ok with their manager.

Evidencing bullying is exceptionally hard, and even if you do, it is even harder to do anything effective against it.. It simply isn't easy to action in law, employers know that, and so even if the mouth the right words, they seldom do anything - and may even, without being willing to admit it, be perfectly happy with it.

It is important that you answer the questions about contracted hours and pay, but it may be easier, if it removes you from the influence of this manager, to look at what the employer is doing to relocate you to another site. You may be better off somewhere else, especially if, as I said, it gets this manager off your back.
