I'd like to get my DD a laptop for her to do her GCSE coursework on (as well as play on Sims). I've looked at the recent threads on Dell laptops but the offers seem to have expired.What the best spec I can get for around either £300, or £400?

Dabs.com are doing a Hewlet Packard Laptop, 80Gb hard drive, 512Mb ram with windows vista home basic for £299. We just bought some for work, and I'm seriously considering getting myself one for my postgrad studies.
