Discharge

I'm due to be discharged today :j:j:j

I assume that this will show on the insolvency register after midnight tonight?

  • Yes, but I believe you stay on the register for 3 months after discharge.

Remember to print off a few copies incase they are needed when you come to clean up your credit files.

Congratulations by the way - it's a good feeling isn't it?

Congrats Nikki. I remember you were going through it all at the same time as me last September - I was discharged on Saturday. However I'm not really sure what difference it makes, I don't feel any different, other than now being able to be a director or something, (very exciting!) am I missing something? I think I'll feel better after the record goes from the register in 3 months time, after all it still shows as bankrupt but discharged so very little different. I wish it would go from the gazette in the same way too.
