Hi, I have a 3.68 kW system already installed.I have asked dno if I could have 2kw extra and have been refused.Has anyone got any suggestions.Could I just put up the 2kw and not put it through the generation meter,I don't want to go to the expense of batteries, thanks everyone

As I understand it, if you don't have permission you cannot grid-tie the system and can't get FiTs, so you would have to go off grid for that part of the system, which would complex and expensive and probably mean batteries and separate circuits to even use the power. Seems a no-no to me.0
