The dreaded wait...

Hi everyone!
I'll try to keep this brief - I don't want to waffle & I'm just so nervous
I received a call from a recruiter in late August for a job relatively local to me. Increase in wage with a nice benefits package. Within a week, I had an interview. Not to seem self-absorbed, but I felt like the interview went really well. It was with a member of HR & a member of the sales team that used to do the role for which I was applying for.
We went through my CV, they asked and were really interested in my experience and she even stopped about 15 minutes into the interview to say how happy she was and how she would like me to come in again for a second interview with the Sales Manager (it's a support role and this was to meet the person I would be supporting).
The same day, the interview was scheduled for the same time next week.
The day before the interview, I had a call from the recruiter - the interview had to be moved and there was only one time they could do. No problem, I had to shuffle things about but I sorted it and attended the interview the following day.
Again, I felt it went really well.
The SM said he had 3 more interviews that day, then the lady I met would get back to the recruiter. Called the recruiter, gave my feedback. She said she will *try* to get something for me by the end of the day.
I didn't expect that and understandably, I didn't hear anything.
Get an e-mail on Monday saying the recruiter expects an answer Tuesday latest.
I'm now feeling :eek::eek: Do I just wait?
The employer wanted someone to start in just over a months time to have a proper handover with the lady who is leaving.
I guess I don't know when, (or IF?) I should chase?
The anxiety is killing me!

I'd say chase tomorrow, it's the end of the week and it'll remind them at least to think about it over the weekend to come back to you on Monday.... Eeeep! I keep checking every day to see how you're getting on!!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Thanks Sauce!
I have an e-mail drafted that I'm debating to send today. Basically, I've been offered another final interview for a different company tomorrow that have expressed this interview is 'just a formality' and they want me on board!
