Childcare work placements

What’s the best way to find work placements in childcare (paid/voluntary), whilst doing childcare course?

Thanks

  • Asking places that take care of kids?

Sorry I feel like there should be more to this question.
  • what did your college provider say when you asked them about availability and links they have to local childcare settings?
  • If you have to find your own placement, then email your local nurseries/schools and explain who you are, and what you are studying, and why you would like to do a placement with them. Not all providers take students, but it's worth an ask :) that's how I came across mine! good luck :)
