Good comedy post. No doubt the OP will return to inform us that we were all wrong afterall and the evil manager got down on their knees and begged forgiveness and at the same time the OP was promoted to become head of the company thereby proving everybody wrong.0

Either that or will turn up asking how to bring a tribunal claim?

Some of these posts are brilliant, glad you can bring humour to the table. The union rep wants to take it further. I personally just dont accept the laws grey area's on matters of "company x can do as they please". Militant maybe, principle yes.
The legal advice given is that the recording "can" be played back to the employer without fear of breaching telecommunications or data protection laws. As they are not regarded as a "3rd" party.
However his attitude has changed somewhat and or my opinion of him has changed. This may only be due to the fact he knows I have it. His man management skills are now suddenly starting to show.0
