Planning to apply for mortgage - when to clear stoozing balances?

I'm looking to get a mortgage next spring/summer. I've got a lot of stoozing going on and had vaguely planned to clear it at the start of 2016. I'm starting to wonder if I should sort it sooner. Any thoughts or advice?

Depends on the lender. Some you can say it will be cleared by the time you complete others will want it cleared and updated on your credit reports before you apply, most lenders fall in to the former though I think.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
