Ie, sauce like the tiny sachets of it you find in supermarket gravad lax packs .
I would normally try and make it but my dill sowing completely failed this year so am teying to find a commercial source for it as we eat a fair amount of smoked fish and this is an ideal accompanyment. Any suggestions please?

I would still consider making it - get a bunch of dill from posh supermarket / deli and find a recipe.
I use a basic mayonnaise recipe (sometimes just cheapo ready-made) and mix with sour cream; add dill and/or capers / chopped parsley0 -
Our local market stall and cheap cash and carry sell a sachet of dill at just 20p. I imagine it would be perfect for your purposes - pm me if you want me to send you some.Solar Suntellite 250 x16 4kW Afore 3600TL dual 2KW E 2KW W no shade, DN15 March 14
