Why are you posting this here? It's not only highly unlikely they the cyclist you saw is a user here but further more the cyclists here are in most cases (if not all) do not behave that way and wouldn't condone such behaviour.
I'm just back from a cycle where I had a near miss with a vehicle that didn't understand how passing places worked but I haven't posted in the motoring board as there would be no point. I don't understand why people think they need to post their experiences of bad cyclists here.0 -
In case anyone missed it, here's the original post again:Just stopped at a junction to join a main road . Right in front of me was another cyclist , no hands on handlebars, completly oblivious to me and everything else as he had his hands and eyes messing with his iphone.i followed him about a few hundred yards to see if he was going to crash into a row of parked cars.
He managed to avoid these by the "skilful" use of putting his hand on the handlebar at the last moment and moving to the right.
He then proceeded in the middle of the road to carry on with his important business on his phone. To his credit , he was moving in more or less a straight line, which probably was more than me as i just couldn't believe my eyes!0
