Is it possible to self build?

We have a 35% loan to value ratio on our present home of value about £150,000. We would need to buy a plot around £95,000 and then a build for a 4 bedroom Passive house of budget of £100,000. Is it possible to rent our existing home and free up the equity to contribute to the build?

What are you hoping to gain by renting out rather than selling your existing property?0 -
Check out the Buildstore website (http://www.buildstore.co.uk/). There are such things as self build mortgages.0
