For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.

My personal rule regarding chocolate items is that I'm prepared to pay 1p per gram (£1 for a 100g bar). Therefore 2 boxes at 198g (396g) for £2 is good value to me. Half the rate I normally pay. Only trouble is I'm supposed to be cutting down as my cholesterol levels are too high.......:(0

I'm still working on the 0.5p per gram rule (£1 for a 200g bar). Much trickier these days - but better for the diet!catswiththumbs wrote: »My personal rule regarding chocolate items is that I'm prepared to pay 1p per gram (£1 for a 100g bar). The tubs of chocs and sweets are already in store, and Morrisons are doing their own version of, what looks like a Roses assortment, at £4 for a kilo tub. Most of the others, Roses, Celebrations, etc., are around 700g, for a £5. tub.
Worth a look - and a taste, to see.0 -

Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
