Applying for a guarantor loan whilst on a Dmp

    As someone who was in a DMP (with a firm based in Manchester) one of the stipulations was that I didn't take out any form of credit until it was completed.

    If one of my creditors (at the time) had gotten wind they'd have cancelled the agreement with the company acting on my behalf and I'd have been back to square one.

    In hindsight I just wished I'd done the legwork myself (namely using MSE!) as the fees I paid each month would've gotten me debt free much, much sooner.
    It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.
