Jk0 has a great suggestion about the beauty and hairdressing at local college (least said soonest mended on the sugar daddy bit). I used to do that when money was more tight and they are supervised so it is ok but slow.Debt at highest: £8k. Debt Free 31/12/2009. Original MFD May 2036, MF Dec 2018.0

Thanks Katsu and Fairy Princessk
My cooker is electric but the hot water/heating is gas, I've just been guesstimating bills at the mo as I haven't moved in yet so I may have guessed too high on the leccy!
Food bill is probably too low, I'll be batch cooking/freezing as much as poss but I'll have to build up a store cupboard too... Probably have to live on soup and cereal for the first month or two (not mixed together though! :rotfl:
Phone is an iPhone and since I don't have a TV or laptop at the mo it is my main source of amusement, I'm due an upgrade so I'll see what I can do about the price... I'm looking at broadband only deals as my parents have said they'll buy me a laptop and TV, I'm not bothered about extra channels , mainly watch DVDs or Netflix anyway... Oh wait, I forgot to include Netflix in my SOA!
I chose that flat because it's a familiar area, my dad's ex girlfriend used to live the floor below, nice flat, safe area, closer to work, still close to my dad, and it was the cheapest 1 bed flat I could find without moving east, where I would have to spend more getting to work... I agree it is pricey but I'm determined to make it work!!
I'm selling stuff on eBay too, hoping to pay off my Marbles card in one go then that's one less thing to worry about...Credit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526

Haha! Sugar babe.. Wasn't that a band?? I went to beauty school so I do all that stuff myself
it's literally only waxing I can't do coz I'm a big wuss! I used to hate waxing other people nevermind doing myself... That £50 includes full leg, eyebrow threading and ermm, other parts... My friend does it and gives me mates rates so it's probably about £41 but I've over estimated to be on the safe side!

When I bought my first home I ate bread and jam whilst I was going through my totally broke phase. I was young and healthy, and it didn't last more than a couple of months as my other tight measures (including working 2 p/t jobs on top of my full-time one) meant that I could save enough to make me feel a little more secure.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

That makes me feel a bit better lol I'm doing overtime already but come Xmas I'll be working permanent nights for 6 weeks... If bread and jam, hot water bottle and reading by candlelight is what it takes then it'll have to do! Unfortunately it's only renting not buying, but I don't think I'll ever be in a position to buy... XCredit Card Debt:[STRIKE]£12991[/STRIKE] £12526
