Am I the only one who has noticed that this company seem to have a very similar name to a double glazing company reputed to have some rather aggressive sales techniques ?
That alone would have me running for cover !NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
Thank you Martin for that very detailed response and answering those questions. Very interesting note about the Entu Plc share price, the rep told us that the group was going from strength to strength and would break into the top 200 this year....
I have politely declined this offer from Staybrite and have had the usual such and such has signed up who cant be wrong, neither can the other 1000's of people who are scrabbling to sign up before the cut off.
Now going to have a shop around, but fear I may have left it too late to beat the cut off date, if the installs are really going as crazy as ive been lead to beleive.
Oh @Mart, yes I could possibly both those people.....maybe that is why after making my account I couldnt login had then had to make another....opps

So this forum has a case sensitive username login and also allows the same email address to be registered more than once ?? Ekk
Guess an admin needs to deleted one of those accounts please then, otherwise this could get messy with my stupid clumsy fingers !!!
Oh and can this thread stay on topic please0 -

Oh and can this thread stay on topic please
Considering the level of argument & spam we tend to get from newly registered users, you'll have to forgive the general level of scepticism which (rightly) exists within many on this forum, especially so when a thread appears effectively saying something along the lines of ... "I know this is a really poor price and I seem to be pretty savvy on the technology, so what do you think and will you help discuss & trash the offer" ... following up with other posts related more to discussing the company than requesting further relevant information, all this without the lighthearted approach which would normally be employed when sarcastically lampooning and employing general mockery ....
Add to this the creation of two profiles before making a first post, then a posting pattern alternating between the two and many would be sitting here eagerly awaiting a follow-up post something like .... "I had company xxxx install today, much better, knew what they were doing, no BS, friendly, price much better at (~£6k?), not bad considering the rush they mentioned, but I was told that they still have installation slots available if anyone needs a system .. pm me for contract details" ...... if it (two profiles) is as the result of a registration issue, then that's fine, but you must admit that it looks really odd and could simply be addressed through profile maintenance without a need to involve 'admin' ...
Regarding the above and relating it to .... "Oh and can this thread stay on topic please" ... that obviously depends on the topic and how it plays out .... If it's simply - "Hi, is this any good?", then the answer has been given as a pretty definite "No" and a decision has rightly been made to walk away and look for alternatives, so the thread topic has pretty much run it's course .... however, where an alternative agenda exists the thread topic possibly remains valid and would be required to stay open ....

Wow. Ok. You got me busted. No flies on you
I didnt even know i had created 2 accounts, i couldnt log in after i'd made my first account (now realise its because of case sensitive username) so assumed something had gone wrong so registered again.....with the same username and email and password.....
So your implication that having 2 accounts is somehow indicative of foul play.......both the usernames....are.......the........same.........:T
I may not be a rocket scientist but in sure i could work out if i was trying to make it look like 2 different people, id use different names:rotfl:
And thank you for the disection of my posting patterns, but i disagree with you completely and think the train of the thread was relevant as this company was going to pains to stress the reasons why they are more expensive and I wanted "informed" opinion on that aswell....Like what Martin kindly took the time to do.
Its all very good telling somebody to run away from a deal, but the class and quality comes from those who can back up their statements with an explaination.... so thank you to those posters.
Annnnnd now the thread is derailed.....0 -

Many a dubious company will tell you what you want to hear, theirs are the best panels, they produce 100% more than any other, the price is more money because they're better, act now before its too late....you get the drift.
Just thank your lucky stars that you decided to post about your "quote", at least now you know they're trying to rip you off....big time...now you can at least get some invaluable advice from people who don't have a financial interest in your decision. The coat is at least 100% more.
I installed my 3.5kw system with micro inverters for 60% of the cost a few months back.
