I entered this competition:

to win a trip to see Britney live in Vegas.

The closing date was 22/06. On 13/07 they responded to a Tweet asking about the winner saying: The winner has been chosen and has been contacted in order to validate their entry ahead of the announcement. They never announced a winner and their next Tweet was on 24/08 about another competition to meet Britney in Vegas:

Looks legit and they (same as any other) do not have to announce a winner just make the details available and the T&C's say how you could find out

The Twitter page looks suspect - they don't follow anybody and only have 57 followers.

That twitter page is just for the competition, the FB page which mentions the competition has over 230,000 followers.

I won a lynx competition to go to the world premier of the hobbit, it wasnt officially nnounced on twitter though, but they had messaged me and arranged it. I think its to save the winner getting a flood of "they dont deserve to win because... "tweets. Not everyone is gracious when it comes to losing.

I entered the original comp back in June too and was miffed when they never announced the winner (I did ask but just got ignored)

I'm cool about not winning but it would have been nice to see who won, especially as I spent a while making my picture entry.

Comp is definately legit as there are a few "Meet Britney in Vegas" type comps running at the moment, Heart Radio is/was also doing one ... that's not to say the particular comp you entered is legit just that the prize seems to be doing the rounds at the moment.
