Morning Peeps.
I need a bit of help in regards to some comping that I've never done before. (please excuse my numptyness in this subject)
Anyway, I'm going to be an Auntie for the first time *yaaaaaayy*. So, I thought I'd try and help out with a few bits and pieces by entering some baby related competitions.
The thing is, I've never actually needed to do competitions that have to do with baby items, so was just wondering if any of you who do them can kindly guide me in the right direction in regards to the best sites, (I don't to do any that involves posting advice before entering IYSWIM), just some general advice to start me off. I have tried searching, but for some reason, my searches on here have proved to be a bit rubbish lol.
Thanks very much.

Off the top of my head - Mumii, Made For Mums, Netmums, Mumsnet.
Bounty has some too.
Babyworld, Small Steps Online (but you need to be signed up to see the entry details. It's email entry), Emma's Diary (but you need to be careful when using the 'competitions' page as alot of the competitions are hosted via Catalink or Topfox.)
Congrats.

There are some Babyworld dailies in the daily thread. They're quick to enter if you bookmark them and I have had quite a lot of luck with them.
Good luckHuge respect to all those who take the time to post competitions. You're all great! :T0 -
One point people above have not stated - "comping" is just a hobby, winning is a bonus and is not guaranteed - some people have been entering hundreds of competitions every day for years and never won a thing.
It is like putting your name into a hat with thousands of others - with just 1 winner ......... for each and every competition you enter.0 -

Yes I know. I've been comping for a good few years, it's my hobby. But I only asked about baby stuff 'cos I've never entered baby comps before (mainly because I've never needed to, and I don't enter comps just for the sake of it)
It's just that with our family expecting a new arrival, I'd thought I'd have a go, and I know full well that I might not win anything, but even if I won a dummy, it helps. I just wanted to ask the folks on here advice on the ones that they enter, mainly because I didn't know where to start. And some helpful advice has been given - which is very much appreciated. Thanks Peeps.

Baby stuff comes up regularly on the board, so if you're comping here as a hobby just keep your eyes peeled and you're sure to come across it. Best of luck!
