Vermiculite loft insulation

I would like to get Vermiculite to insulate some difficult areas of my loft (20 sq?m). I am fairly certain I don't qualify for free loft insulation.
Can I get the Vermiculite free as part of a Govt scheme?
If not what is the cheapest way to buy it please?

The loft insulation type is water repellant I believe.
