1st Credit F&F Advice

I've had a couple of old bank accounts, one around 800 and one around 2200, passed to 1st Credit. I am thinking of offering them a F&F, but unsure the amount to try for and also have read some bad things about them just out and out refusing to accept offers and always going for the full amounts. Any advice welcome. Can give more information if needed.

It's going to be a case of "suck it and see" with 1st credit I suspect.
