The usual 'weekend' debt letters from DWP

Got home to find a brown letter in my postbox today the usual debt letters from the government who seem to always enjoy sending them out at the weekend. Stating i owe them several hundred pounds and that they are going to deduct the money from my benefits by a staggering 44%. Couldn't remember if i included them on my BR but the woman kept telling me to fax documents to the DWP, explained it's 2015 and most people don't have fax machines these days. So I put her on hold and connected them to the Insolvency Service who kindly answered all the questions for me and faxed the details across whilst on the phone.

The Insolvency team where excellent and had a lot of patience we where on the phone as a 3way call for at least 40 minutes. So I will need to call next week to the DWP to double check they have received everything as I cannot afford for this money to be taken from me.

DWP confirmed that if they need to refund in cases like this that I will need to wait UNTIL after my DISCHARGE to get the money back.
