Quote advice please!

So I had Sundial Solar come out on Friday to do a full survey.

They had initially quoted me around £5000 for a 4kW system of which around £800 was for scaffolding.

During his survey he noted that I have actual 2"x2" rafters and that they may need to use more fixings so I had an idea the price may go up a little.

This morning I have had a quote back for £5750.44 without scaffolding!!!

I asked why so much more and he said because works needed to be done inside the loft. I am awaiting a reply from him as to what the works intail.

His quote is as follows:

Does this seem OTT anywhere? Where can I check panel prices etc online?

After 2 non returned emails, I decided to call them today and the MD told me that they had to add 2x4s in the rood wherever the mounting systems screws came through. I questioned how this was £1500 of work and then he added that as the roof was slate (I pointed out it was man made tiled) that this meant it was more time consuming to fit. He wasn't interested in moving on the quote so I shall be searching for a new installer!!!
