I'm sure all the posh Farmers of Shropshire would LOVE their dahlings to come home singing that little ditty...

They probably go away singing worse...

    Evening lovely people!

Just made a lovely evening meal of vegeburgers, breaded mushrooms and onion rings - bit naughty but tomorrow I start on my '3 weeks to go until I start work' panic diet, so tonight I am having the evening off healthy eating.

Might even have a bit more peach schnapps later! :p

We've been talking more about moving house today and have decided we might have to hang on a couple of years, until Natasha starts nursery, or maybe even full time school, unless our finances suddenly start looking healthier once I'm back at work.

Our plan now is to hopefully sell the shares and pay off the car loan in the next few weeks (although the share price has dropped, the settlement figure on our loan has reduced too, and I'm not sure whether to just sell them now). We would be about £300 short for the car loan I think, and the shares are almost at the lowest they have been for at least the last 3 years, but things could get a lot worse before they get better, so......I dunno.....

Then we have another sharesave maturing in August that will hopefully clear most of the secured loan (may be about £1k short there as a worst case scenario, but the loan is flexible so could just tackle the last £1k as and when we can).

Then we would have 2 years or so to save up our moving costs.

I'm just not sure though if it will be okay to have Ryan sharing with his 3 year old sister when he is 10.

What does anyone think? I promise this is the only serious question of the evening, and then we can all get back to the smut! :p:D

sounds like a good plan to me hun ...natasha is still young enough she will be able to settle in in two years time and if your finances are in a better position then it will make it more comfortable a move ...getting rid of the car loan as well is a great psychological lift i would go for that ..you have talked on and off for a wee while about selling them but the seem to go down alot ...think you need to just do it ...youwill find the rest of the money easily enough ...but at the end of the day it's what sits comfortable with you and your family
