    oh stop it will ya!!!

You're always going on to others about how gorgeous they are and boosting their self esteem, you should take your own advice!!

Easier said than done, i know, but try!

    Repeat after me

"my name is Snaggles, and i am a great mother to my kids, a gorgeous sexy babe to my man, a great friend to my mates (real and virtual), a hard worker, domestic goddess and an overall top chick"

repeat 25 times a day until you get the message!!
Maz, thank you for this - I didn't reply straight away because my first thought was that I couldn't possibly think like that, and i would feel a fraud.....and then lo and behold we were talking about the exact same thing on my course, and they said the same as you! :)

So I will give it a go - I need to do something to lift my self esteem off the floor. I always joke about how fat/ugly/crap I am because I tend to think that's how people see me, and if I say it first, it's a way of taking control a bit. But I can see it's not very healthy, and I need to think more positively.

So my thought for the week is, 'my new haircut looks nice'. :)

(might run out of positive things to say pretty quickly though but I'll give it a go :o)

A quick update on the house situation too. We have decided that although we loved the house we went to see, we can't buy anything just yet. Stu is losing his job again next month, and hasn't managed to even find any suitable jobs to apply for yet really, so we can't commit to anything.

And my shares still can't be sold, so we don't have enough to cover estate agents fees, conveyancing, moving costs etc.

By autumn we will have more savings (hopefully) and Stu will be in a more stable job (again, hopefully), plus I will be back at work, so it makes sense to wait till then.

Bit sad about giving up on buying the house, but I'm relieved in a way too.

Tomorrow I am going to look at our finances again - things seem a bit tight this month, and I need to make sure I can afford to stay off until after easter. Think I need a new challenge, and bringing in a bit more money would be very handy at the moment, so I will be having a look for some ideas. I haven't got much to ebay, but there are a few bits that would get me started at least.

Well, if you are ever in the Leeds area and fancy a coffee (or something stronger), give me a shout!

I couldn't get the link to work btw, sorry - it just said I hadn't entered my name, but the only place I could find to enter anything was to subscribe to an email. :o

Bum, it may be the whateverthey'recalled things that get you surfing, dunno, anyway usually there is a line thingy that says put in your name.

After you type in your name, it proceeds to say nice stuff about you. Generally more reliable than a husbund.......;) xx
