Just popped in to say hey mrs snags, hope you get things sorted out. I was on verge of leaving OH in November (had keys to other flat n everything) but in the end he opened up emotionally and now we are pretty sound... i think you need this space to get a reaction out of Stu, to test his feelings and get some reassurance.... and then you give him some in return. Papering over cracks is never a good idea, and is only every temporary... You're braver than you think having the courage to let him go...... he'll be back soon, and he'll be as you want him to be.

Thanks Maz (and lol at the drunken texting). I'm really glad you sorted things out with your OH. I think we will sort things out too, but i just hope we will make some real changes, as a short term fix is just papering over the cracks, as you say.
