Tesco "Green" Clubcard Points

Probably been mentioned elsewhere but Tesco have confirmed that as of October 5th, when the bag tax is introduced, they will no longer award green clubcard points for bag re-use.

There goes any chance I had of ever getting any vouchers (only ever pop in for single items when on offer and don't spend much anyway)

Was inevitable but annoying none the less

You're lucky if they give you the green points anyway! I pop into the huge Woolwich store now and again for a few bits and pieces, but I've only once, since the day the store first opened, received any green points, even though I always use my own bag.

I think it's time for me to throw the card away. Just not worth the effort of getting it out of the pocket now days.

Getting some 'green' points per visit is not going to make much of a difference to your total points in any period.

It may not make a lot of difference to you but I daresay it makes a significant difference to Tesco. Every little helps, as they say.
