DMP with LloydsTSB

Hello. I am about to embark on a DMP through CCCS mainly for LloydsTSB (credit card, Loan and Overdraft).
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the addresses to send the letters to. Especially if they have sent letters themselves to LTSB.
I have been on the phone to LTSB for the best part of 45 mins this morning, but no one can give me a definitive answer.
Obviously i dont want to send my DMP proposal to the wrong dept as this would slow things down or even get "lost" being transferred to the right dept (if it ever does).
I have called CCCS and the lady said that she didnt have the information to hand, and to go into my branch - this is ok, but I want to avoid this if I can due to knowing a few people that work there.
I would appreciate any help that comes my way.

hi hun i think u have no alternative really but to go into your branch and personally deliver the letter, dont worry about the ppl who work there - if they have had access to ur account details in the past then they would know u r in debt anyway!! cccs is nothing to be ashamed of, and only u and your bank manager need to know, ring your branch n make an appointment to see someone there u r comfortable with
hth and good luck xxxxLBM 29/07/ 07

I think your probably right. Ho hum! Hey.. well done for your DFD being Jan 09! Where you taking me then to celebrate?!?!0

I had my overdraft on a DMP I posted it to the address on the statement and got a letter back telling me where it should be posted, the address has changed several times Lloyds are not very good at dealing with things keep most of your communications in writing and you can trip them up!
I got a refund of interest, case of wine and accepted payments for a year they cocked up so badly!0 -
Lloyds are not the best communicators but I would go into the branch and either ask or hand deliver a letter there. Get proof of delivery form an assistant there so they can't say they have not got it !They were our worst one but PayPlan wrote to them and all that so we didn't have to worry.Good LucK !0

Try either - Collections Centre, Brighton, BN1 4BE or Customer Services, Moore House, Black Lion Street, Brighton BN1 4DA.
To put it bluntly they are hopeless at dealing with post - since February they have had 37 recorded delivery letters from me - all signed for - and only 8 they can admit to finding!! I've had £100 compensation off them but the problems still continue so I've taken my complaint to the Financial Services Ombudsman.
Keep paying what you've offered, send eveything recorded, get a signature off a staff member if you take it into a branch etc
Good luck and try not to let it stress you.0 -
I got through to a call centre agent who had more than an ounce of common sense. My conversation with him had him echoing prett much what CCCS had told me in conversations with them; cancel direct debits etc.
Anyway, he has given me an address to post the letters to. I am not at home ATM and will post the full address when I am there but it is a Finance Management Centre in Andover if memory serves.
I will of course be sending everything recorded and have spent the morning calling companies to change direct debit details.
Will post the address in a later.
Can anyone tell me exactly how a DMP will affect my credit rating? I am movin house come November and lettings agencies do a credit check nowadays and I am worried about failing this...
I might start a seperate post for this.. hmmm..
Thanks to all who answered!0 -

Estate agents have to do credit searches for rental, be honest with them and tell them they could find things you could if someone is willing get someone to be guarantor and the search is done on them then.
Your credit will be effected but its hard to say how exactly it depends on the companies you deal with and what they lodge on your credit report. You will get defaults and these are what go on your history but it could take months or days for these to happen - they disappear 6 years after they are issued if that helps.0 -
Hi The address i have been using is:
Collections centre
Essex house
Southchurch avenue
Southend-on-sea
Essex
SS1 2LB
Actually given all the stuff i hear about Lloyds dealing with debt i was expecting a right fight...however the guy in the centre was just so helpful and careful to help me choose the right amount i could afford to pay per month. Hats off to him and it is a pity all the rest of the CC companies arent the same....

I am expecting the run around too but as long as I keep proof of posting/ them receiving letters and liaise with CCCS when they are getting on my nerves it'll be fine:rotfl: .
I will use the address I have and attach a cover letter stating that a call centre agent gave it to me.
Incidently, anyone know how I pay towards my overdraft, or indeed my loan and credit cards. I am not expecting a payment book from them straight away. How do I pay in the interim?0
