Thats a lovely box that is!

    And it's all mine. :j

Not sure I really should have ordered just counted 20 bottles of champagne. I forgot still have 5 of those young champagnes Ts had on offer before xmas and I only gave one away for a 60th birthday present the other week.

Think Mr TS's 50th is going to go with a bang.

No ... but assuming it is Mint Aero as the visible trigger, 9 (not 10!) should work.

    Thanks! :)
My inlaws did a 14 night one with them last year and really enjoyed it. They've been looking for one for September or October this year but not had any luck finding one at a price they want to pay (think they were spoiled by the bargain they got last year). They definitely rated it though.

that's the same problem we have had. We have had a couple of nice bargains at this time - September/October but this year is dire. There just does not seem to be anything with good enough discounts.

one year we went with cruise and Maritime right at the end of September, stayed with eldest child overnight, she was living up north at the time, train to Hull and taxi across and we went from Hull which was an interesting change.
Another year we got a last minute Fred Olsen (with the £10 a day drinks package of course) We sailed down the Seine all the way down to Rouen, then back up the Seine to Honfleur and then back out into the channel and down the bay of Biscay to La Rochelle - just a week but it was excellent.

This year the nearest is only for 6 nights - La Coruna, Bilbao and La Rochelle - all ports we have been to before - La Coruna is beautiful and very close to walk into from the ship, Bilbao isn't - about half an hour on the coach and La Rochelle - well the last time the port authorities bussed us to a car park and we got the local bus into town for a few euros - Fred Olsen were trying to charge people £15 for the coach into town and didn't tell people until the night before that there was any alternative!

  • Well my shop was a bit of a mixed bag.

What should have been my £10 PP came out at £4.72

    shop_zpsphsnhqfq.jpg

Quick check of the results and my Persil compared £10 v £9.98 instead of v £5. Contemplated for a moment what to do with it, and decided to return it. Also realised I picked up the 1kg crunchy nuts instead of the 750g which would have compared £3.14 v £2.

Total was £40.24. Used coupons worth £20.60 so payed £19.64. And then returned the Persil so overall £9.64, £1.35 cashback with a £4.72 PP.

No she didn't as she thought Teeny was too young to go and to be honest, don't think it would have been so relaxing with her there. It's a shame all three of my girls could not have been there we had a two bedroom room so there was plenty of room. I would love to go back with Mr TS but don't think I will ever get him on a plane again. His ethics now mean flying is off his agenda. :(
