Wow that's a first plenty of people have started a thread early before & never been closed.as the new thread has been started rather too early, I will close that one for now and then reopen it when we get to the 10k posts time on this thread.
I am writing this in a bit of a rush so it's not well thought out.....sorry.
Can we have a discussion as to who starts the next thread?
There are those who care and those who don't.
So can we go with those who care if the others don't give a jot:rotfl:
I know there have been differences between heol and other posters and I don't intend to get involved with that .....but.......a big but........the thread has suffered from a drop in posts of late.....if we want to keep it going as a viable money saving resource......and we need numbers to do that.......we need to ensure that as many people as possible follow the new thread......I fear it will not survive a further drop in numbers:o
This is not meant to start an argument:)
I'm assuming the majority of posters want this thread to thrive.......don't we?To do is to be. Rousseau
To be is to do. Sartre
Do be do be do. Sinatra0 -
Wow that's a first plenty of people have started a thread early before & never been closed.Yes I agree. Maybe mse should explain themselves. What's it matter if a thread starts a little early? Isn't it more important that someone has taken the time and trouble to set up a new thread than to insult them by taking it down? Seems a bit too much like having a bash at someone if you ask me.
Sorry redfox but I agree with the above posters. this smacks of being personal without just cause if you ask me. I started this thread well before the 10,000 mark but no-one objected. Please do the right thing and put the new thread back up.0 -

It's been said before it's anyone's choice to open the next thread you can't change it cos you don't like the poster. That's unfair and it's wrong. I don't care who opens it.0 -

Perhaps we could have 2 threads, one for caring chit-chat, sharing of glitches, being nice to one another, and a light sprinkling of smut; and another thread for back biting, gloating, winding up of different 'groups', AE's, flying visits with a wooden spoon, and one-up-manship. Then people can decide, depending on what mood they are in as to which thread they post on. Best of both worlds then“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I haven't got an opinion on heol:)
And you've made my point exactly......you don't care who opens the next thread......but some people do.........we used to discuss it......maybe it went to someone who had found a glitch.....what about bubbs and her cheese:rotfl: or nan and her lucozade......many people here save money for others day in and day out.......
