OH and I were talking about this lately during a long wait in a waiting room... How nurses used to wear hat things (don't think they actually served a purpose) and doctors all wore white coats. I personally think it must be much easier to carry out their duties in the comfier clothing they have these days. Our dentist has started wearing a rather funky bright purple trousers and top. I guess it's all getting a bit more relaxed.
I don't like the phlebotomists black uniforms at our hospital though, I must admit. Having someone dressed head to foot in black sucking my blood out doesn't put me at ease
No not at the hospitals think it is to put the patients at ease.
DD2 had to wear one with elasticated cuffs for microbiology. And the other for dissection. Think I have that right way round, she also had to wear for first couple of years OSCE or is it OSSE exams back then. I might have that wrong but anyway for the practical exams.0 -

Your DS just creases me up! I'm struggling not to laugh cos I fell arris over tip this afternoon and did a complete belly flop onto a concrete path - my ribs, hip and knees are rather bruised and laughing/coughing is really painful.fairclaire wrote: »Oh dear we are all in the wars tonight. I hope your bruises heal quickly.
Amuse yourself with watching your bruises change colour - fun for all the family, and free too (so, very MSE:D)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'
