    afternoon peeps
just popping on to let you know that T's pp is finishing and as far as I can see we will get a refund in pennies of the difference.......can't really see this happening but live in hope xx

Are you basing this on the Tesco Brand Promise trial in Ireland that deducts the savings from the bill rather than gives a voucher?

check your emails from Quidco. I got one that said activate and then spend £10 and get an additional £10 as well as cashback :j

the site is being very slow or at least I am having difficulties. When you finally get to the page it askes you to activate.

no confirmation that it has actually worked, might wait until tomorrow just to be sure.

in theory then £10 free - no idea how long it takes to arrive in your account.

Might be worth getting a livingsocial or groupon deal I think

    Always read the T&Cs, particularly:
    11. In order to qualify for the bonus the member must spend a minimum of £10 plus VAT and delivery at a retailer that offers cashback. Any transactions where no spend is required will not qualify for the bonus.

so that's a minimum £12 spend plus delivery just to be safe

MKS are you all packed and raring to go:T hope you have a nice chill out :A

bubbs how are you feeling now bless you hope things are easing a little for you and you are not having to do too much ironing at the moment;)

Thanks Nanny. All packed, just finished dinner, coffee on for the morning and enjoying a glass of Sauv Blanc. All too good to be true. No dramas etc. Usually something goes wrong so normally chasing around like the proverbial fly.

Extra early start this morning for admin work, then DGC (:j:j), another assessment with my Dad that took an hour longer than anticipated, freezer tetris to make sure that DS is catered for whilst I'm away (drawers 3 and 4 in utility freezer, sandwiches in top drawer of freezer in garage), everything packed, ironing done. 9 hours before I leave, hopefully it be boringly normal and no last minute calls, if so, will be a first.

Thanks aj. I've visualised lots of trips and now my car is back on the road I thought I'd be able to get out and about more. I feel so much better than I did. Like you, I did the just walking into the shop and feeling knackered and ready to go home. It is frustrating but I know I'll get there eventually. I'm just worried about being setback by this next op. I really don't want to feel as bad as I did after the last one, and spend another 6 weeks in bed after.
    .

I know what you're saying LS but in the great scheme of things, if it does take 6 weeks that's small fry to the weeks, months and years you have in front of you. Just think of what you'll be capable of doing after this next op. All systems go for you, so don't worry about how long it's going to take you to recouperate, just look ahead x

Nose not so 'the tap is open' now :)

Hope your Antibiotics kick in xxx

Snap that bedding is gorgeous, I could happily slumber the afternoon away under that  so shift over :rotfl::rotfl:

I've had 2 antibiotics so far, I'll get the 3rd in at bedtime. I should sleep well tonight too, but strangely don't feel tired now :)
