Dave - I think your next sail date is before ours - are you with p & o?
Just reading the FB thread which says that from last Saturday they are now being strict with boarding times
We generally are at the port for about 12 and then just wait until the desks open and we get on ASAP - in January we had a bit if a wait in the lounge upstairs afterwards but not too bad.
If we get a boarding time of 3.45 I will have a major hissy fit - we have had a major wait to get on board with Fred Olsen but they don't serve lunch so you really need your Greggs lunch deal to tide you over until cake time
Yes, Ventura. I have read that too, but looking on another site, it seems that everyone is getting 3 or 3:30 boarding times. If they really expect me to plan a 6 hours train trip to arrive just before the ship sails, they have another thing coming. (Okay, I am splitting it with a stay at the Conran London with thanks to the HHonours credit card, but they dont know that). I might always just pop into a bar if it is sunny though. Anyone know if there is any nice bars near the train station of dock at S/ton?

Lol It was said very tongue in cheek, glad that you took it in the spirit it was taken.
DD2's OH went to the Ireland V Italy match today and now has a fuzzy head. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Three more sleeps. :j:j:j
As if I'd take it any other way
Looked like a good game but I can't help feeling that Italy were playing against 16 men at times

A friends daughter lost an eye to cancer a few years ago at a young age after a fight of 3 years or so.
As others have said, prosthetics are very good, and she is 'normal' to all intents and purposes.
To be honest, it is worse for the parents to come to terms with - the kids grow up with it being 'normal' for them.
Of course it is terrible, but the kids get over it. Treat them normally so they don't feel different !
Edit: just re-read my post and it may have come across a bit uncaring. Don't mean it that way at all, it was just some factual comments.
Of course our best wishes go to the little girl and her family, and hope she gets through it as best as possible.
Bikertov, you've hit it absolutely spot on. :T:T:T
Not uncaring at all. As a mum with a DS who has disabilities, I would have loved for everyone to treat him as normal (he is, by the way - pit of a bedroom etc :eek: ) instead of a 'freak'
Wish more people had your outlook. :beer:0 -
Not been mentioned for a while but can confirm full multibuy discount still coming off whoopsied 3 for £10/2 for £7. 3 packs Finest sausages marked down to £1.20 pack so £1.60 for 30 outdoor bred pork sausages.

Yes. Made it last Sunday. Turned out well. Wrapped & hidden from OH. I also made a tester. This I told him not to touch until I had matured & fed it. Went to feed it with brandy today and it was half gone. Was not happy (but I suppose I have saved the brandy!)0
