Instore shop today. A v M
6x Air Wick Essential Oils Infusion White Vanilla Bean Candle (EACH)£23.88£12.00
SEL said 2 for £4 but went through at full price so off I trot to CS who refund me the difference. £12 paid and APG (inc fillers) for £13.89. I had to ask for my £2 gift card, always do. My problem is I now have a receipt where the candles are all crossed through and all fillers only come to about £1 and a large APG. I'll have to pick my SA carefully to spend that one:)

Afternoon
I get state pension and no tax is paid on it.I also have 3 private pensions which are taxed.
I do not have to fill in a self assessment form.
BUT if you did fill in a form isn't there a chance you would get some of the tax paid on your private pensions back? Your personal tax allowance is £10,600 this year & unless you get a lot more state pension than normal. I know I don't get near the tax allowance with my state pension as self employed for many years so can claim it back on private pension.0 -
2nd instore shop today.
500g Lurpak with a free tea towel are in the 3 for £5 fridge fillers in my store. When I scanned it instore on A app it came up as product not found. hmm, potential trigger I thought. I was going to buy ham anyway so got the 3 for £5 deal. Had to fill up with fillers to make sure I could check APG. Sure enough Lurpak didn't show on APG.:)
I haven't checked yet to see if there are any good comparisons in the offer I'll try to have a look later. That said, £1.66 for large Lurpak (so 83p for normal size) is a good deal anyway. Not to mention the free tea towel.

Each of my private pensions has it's own tax code and one takes into account the personal allowance and state pension and other pensions to work out the code for that pension.
I get a annual tax summary and check it with a fine tooth comb.
I have had a rebate for tax overpaid on savings interest.0 -

If you are self employed and pay a reduced national insurance stamp of about £6 a week what happens when you go sick and cant work?
I thought that reduced stamps were only available to married women over a certain age. The downside was that in return for reduced NI contributions there was no pension entitlement?
