so far so good with the choc c&c

well this is a momentous moment.

Finally our builder has left the building - he has been here 16 days apart from a day off sick.
He has also taken his 9 assorted tool boxes and various buckets with him.

we have a garden full or bits of wood and tile off cuts, some for the fire but mostly for taking to the tip - I did put a message on Freecycle but we must not live in an area with fashionable wood burners.
I have 3 messy bedrooms, a messy dining room, study and kitchen and a fine layer of plaster over everything having given up trying to keep things clean and in order 15 days ago.

But on the plus side we now have a very swish new en suite bathroom which makes the rest of the house shabby :D
The bathroom still just has the normal one sink, one loo and one shower but we do have some nice built in cupboards.
the materials we bought mostly using discounts and the builders trade point discount have come in just over a thousand and the builder has left clutching a cheque for over £2k which will go towards his Vegas trip

Feeling very skint right now but I have not moved the money across from savings into the current account yet and seen the graph plummet into oblivion.

    I did.
    A 5x points wys £20

    300 wys £7.50 on Homeware
    600wys £15 on bedding
    390wys £12 on wine

yes I had masses of the homeware ones last week and I also accumulated some in the car park but I've sent them all along to someone who might be able to use them and then they are sending their spares onwards.

the wine one is very attractive though.

I am wondering if I buy some cheap wine it might trigger a wine tills pit ...
